Stanley Park has 300 acres of natural beauty to enjoy. You can walk around our Rose Garden, Duck Pond, Asian Garden, Athletic Fields or all four. If you are looking for a pleasant hike through the peaceful woods, the Frank Stanley Beveridge Wildlife Sanctuary offers 160 acres of forested walking trails.

Duck Pond

The Duck Pond, is the centerpiece to our Colonial-era Village. The Duck Pond is a natural spring pond and is the home to ducks, fish and the occasional visiting heron.

Wildlife Sanctuary

Frank Stanley Beveridge Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary

The Frank Stanley Beveridge Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary comprises over 160 acres of managed trails and land along the Little River. The sanctuary contains a wide variety of native trees, wildflowers, ferns, and more.

The Goodrich Covered Bridge is an authentic replica. The bridge is registered by the Covered Bridge Society of North America.

Dinosaur Tracks

The Dinosaur Tracks located in the Rose Garden are authentic tracks that were originally found in the Carlton S. Nash quarry in South Hadley, MA. The tracks were donated to the Park by Carlton S. Nash.

Lily/Frog Pond

Lily (& Frog) Pond

The Lily Pond, also known as the Frog Pond, is at the far end of the Duck Pond. Lily pads, frogs and tadpoles can often be found in the pond. The stone bridge which graces the Frog Pond was a donation to the Park by Stanley Home Products sales people from Oklahoma.

Woodland Wildflower Garden

The Stanley Park Woodland Wildflower Garden features nearly 200 species of wildflowers and ferns native to North America, each with interpretive signage featuring: Common name, Botanical name, Family name, Region of origin, and Season of blossom.
