Woodland Wildflower Garden

The Stanley Park Woodland Wildflower Garden features nearly 200 species of wildflowers and ferns native to North America, each with interpretive signage featuring: Common name, Botanical name, Family name, Region of origin, and Season of blossom.

The Woodland Wildflower Garden was dedicated to Edward Piela and introduced in 1988 and is considered a Botanical Garden as there are signs identifying the plants. This garden is home to nearly two hundred noted, native species of plants. The garden is tucked away in a wooded area of the park with accessible walking paths.

For reasons of ongoing propagation and care, we ask that visitors keep to the center of the path. Please, no dogs or bicycles are allowed.
