You won’t want to miss Stanley Park’s spectacular cultural celebration scheduled for 6:00 PM on Friday, July 30 in the Beveridge Pavilion.  After a week-long celebration of exploring the Slavic tradition, the Park presents EASTERN LIGHTS, an evening of grand illumination highlighting the Eastern European culture through art, music and dance.  Hundreds of hand-painted lanterns reflecting Slavic motifs will light up the Park, youngsters in original Polish costumes and the Small Planet Dancers will perform traditional dance. The highlight of the evening will feature the renowned, Grammy-winning Jimmy Sturr and Orchestra.  Watch for more information.
